We've had a tremendous week in Year 6, with Forest School, Circle of Fitness, the poetry of Robert Frost, pentomino investigation in maths, leaf identification - even rainbows in the classroom! The end of the school year is approaching, the sun is out, and we're getting the most out of every day - we have even achieved international fame, gaining recognition for our maths work on the Nrich website! :-)
It's been a brilliantly active week in Year 6, with the Circle of Fitness, an 'Olympics' competition, and some highly committed dodgeball. Just look at the determination from the competitors!
It's been an assessment week this week, and Year 6 have absolutely excelled themselves - truly, a terrific end to Key Stage 2 for this wonderful group of children. We have also been out on Forest School with Miss Cowling building dens!

It's been great welcoming everyone back this week after a half-term break filled with sunshine. Year 6 have begun their last-ever half-term at Waverley in style, with their 'Leaver 2021' hoodies arriving at just the right time! The class were delighted, and the hoodies look terrific!
