Week beginning 29th March
This week we will be continuing on with our topic of 'Egg-straordinary Easter'. We will be exploring the Easter story and discussing how we celebrate Easter.
We will be doing lots of Easter Arts and Crafts activities as well as some Easter themed literacy jobs focusing on pencil control, initial letter sounds as well as some CVC words.
We will be reading the book 'We're going on an Egg Hunt' by Laura Hughes.
In Maths this week we will be ordering numbers 1-10 as well as continuing to focus on our counting out and matching numeral and quantity skills.
Week beginning 22nd March
We will be continuing on with our online learning this week while we complete our period of self isolation. We return to Nursery on Friday 26th March.
This week we will begin our new theme of 'Egg-straordinary Easter!'
We will be completing lots of fun, creative Easter activities as well continuing on with our letter formation practise. Our Maths activities this week will be focusing on Number formation as well as counting and matching activities.

Week beginning 15th March
This week we will be continuing on with our 'Step in to Spring' topic.
During our Literacy lessons we will be focusing on identifying initial sounds in words and using those sounds to label Spring pictures.
In Maths this week we will be exploring and developing our counting out skills by counting out certain objects to match to a given numeral.
We will also be reading the story "The Rhyming Rabbit" by Julia Donaldson.
Week beginning 8th March
This week we are looking forward to welcoming back all of the children that have been learning from home since Christmas.
Our topic for the next 2 weeks is 'Step in to Spring'. During the next 2 weeks we will be exploring different things that happen during Spring time and reading the stories The Spring Rabbit by Joyce Dunbar & Susan Varley and The Secret Path by Nick Butterworth.
In our Literacy lessons we will be recapping all of our letter sounds and practising our letter formation.
During Maths lessons we will be refocusing on Numbers 1-4 before moving on to Number 5.

Our new topic for the first 2 weeks of this half term is
Fun and Fairytales.
During this week we will be reading the story The Three Little Pigs in our literacy lessons. We will also be continuing with our focus of our letter sounds as well as pencil control and letter formation.
In maths lessons this week, we will focusing on the Number 4 as well as recapping numbers 1-3, which we learnt last half term.
