Friday 20th March - Spring Term 2
Today we celebrated Easter early by reading the Easter story, talking about the Easter festival, made crafts and went on a Easter egg hunt. The children were full of smiles.
Below I have attached an image of some Apps and websites to support children's learning from home... but first please all have a restful weekend and stay safe.
6th March - Spring 2 - Week 2
This week we have celebrated World Book Day by enjoying lots of reading for pleasure. The children read their favourite books, Fiction and Non-Fiction, from our classroom and also brought in their favourite books from home to share. On Friday we had a special celebration where each teacher read their favourite story and completed an activity linked to that book. The children had a choice of which activity to attend, we had Miss Douse reading Harry Potter and the children enjoyed making a Golden Snitch. I read Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and we invented our own chocolate bar. The children used their imagination to invent their chocolate bar and we had some ideas like flying chocolate, chocolate chewing gum, chocolate skittles that taste of fruit and chocolate that changes colour every 5 seconds. What fantastic ideas. Mrs Robson enjoyed reading Wonky Donkey and they made their own craft wonky donkey. The children were all able to say what their favourite book is and why.
