This week in Maths the children have been looking at 2D shapes. We have recognised and identified the properties of the 2D shapes. We have then sorted 2D shapes using their properties. The children have then looked at patterns and have made some patterns using 2D shapes.

In English this week we are reading 'The owl babies'. The children have enjoyed reading this book and looking at the characters feelings. We described how the characters have felt through different parts of the story. We then wrote a diary entry as one of the owl babies, describing how we felt when we didn't know where Mum was.
