Since September I have been in negotiations with the Local Authority regarding the school legal land boundary. With decreasing budgets it no longer felt right or feasible that from school budget we should be cutting and maintaining park land, grass and hedging. As a result we will be returning a significant area of land back to the local authority. All of this land lies external to the school metal perimeter fencing. Over the coming weeks you will notice a significant cut back to the waste land and works to external wooden fencing. We have agreed to undertake this work. Further and future works will take place to enclose the school perimeter grounds as per the manageability of the school budget. The park has never been the responsibility of the school.
