Our time on the Isle of Wight has come to an end, all too soon!
After a wonderful week, we finished our trip with a journey back into the prehistoric history of the island. Oliver, an experienced local palaeontologist, took us on a fossil hunting trip along a local beach, then we visited his ‘Dinosaur Farm’ museum.
The children took part in a variety of activities, including panning for fossils, creating dinosaur art, constructing some giant 3D dinosaurs in teams, and learning about the artefacts in the museum. A perfect end to a thoroughly memorable week.
We’ll be sad to say goodbye to Brighstone, but glad to get back to family and our own beds!
