Covid Update 11/01/2022

People with a positive lateral flow will be required to self-isolate immediately and won’t be required to take a confirmatory PCR test – this is a temporary measure while COVID-19 rates remain high across the UK. Everyone who receives a positive lateral flow should report their result on and must self-isolate immediately. Lateral flows are over 80% accurate.

Positive PCR:

In the event the PCR test following the LFT also tests positive the person/s should isolate for 10 days. Lateral flows can be undertaken on day 6 and 24 hours later on day 7 both of which must show a negative return and feel well in order for the person to come out of isolation.
