What a special week we've had! On Tuesday, we took the bus into Newcastle to visit Northern Stage for a performance of Dickens' 'A Christmas Carol'. It was an incredibly atmospheric and exciting production, with live music, dance and outstanding performances. The children were blown away! Here we are taking our seats...
This week, we have been exploring vision as part of our science topic on light. The children were interested to learn that human colour vision isn't perfect at the periphery, so we had to put it to the test!
This week, we've done some brilliant work on our American History topic in the afternoons. The children have been researching the culture of the Native Americans, and the impacts of European settlement, then creating their own Native American-style artworks.
What a fantastic treat we had this morning! After an excellent week in the classroom, we enjoyed the privilege of going along to a remembrance ceremony at the new NUFC Football Centre in Lemington. As well as taking part in this event, we also had some brilliant coaching and played in some great football activities. Several notable people from the club and local government were also in attendance. A highly memorable occasion!
