Week 7

And finally Happy Halloween everyone.

I hope you have a lovely half term carving pumpkins, dressing up and eating sweets! The children had a fantastic Halloween disco in the gym with their bubble this morning. Some fantastic dancing was seen and the costumes were amazing!


In science we have been looking at food chains. The children had to add labels and information to diagrams. Look at some of their fantastic work below.


In art this term the children have been learning drawing skills. This week we learned about cross - hatching. Some of their amazing work is displayed below.

How to make a Model Woolly Mammoth.

We read and followed written instructions on How to make a model Woolly Mammoth. Look at our creations!

This week we have been reading How to Wash a Woolly Mammoth by Michelle Robinson. We used imperative verbs to wash 'woolly mammoths'!

In science we have been looking at Food Chains. All food chains start with a producer.

This week in computing we have become internet legends and learnt how to stay safe online. Look at all our certificates!

In science we have been learning about living things and sorting them into categories; living, non-living, dead or never alive.

Week 1

Welcome back! The children have settled into their new Year 3 class extremely well and are getting used to new routines and ways of working. Our topic this term is all about the Stone Age. This week we have begun reading UG by Raymond Briggs. A great start to the year... keep it up year 3!
