What a busy week we’ve had so far! On Monday, we enjoyed making Christingles as part of Advent celebrations.
On Tuesday, we made buns with Mrs Fullard and Mrs Hibberd. We then published our recipes and took them home. Well done to Dean, who made more buns with his mum when he got home that evening!
On Wednesday, we enjoyed our visit to Sugley church. Mrs Leeming’s assembly made us think about why we celebrate Christmas.
Today was our party, where we enjoyed playing party games and dancing. Jack spent every opportunity ‘flossing’, so I’m sure that he will be tired this evening!
I hope that everyone thoroughly enjoys the Christmas break. Have a very merry Christmas everyone!
Tuesday saw all of Keystage Two visit Northern stage to see A Christmas Carol. It’s safe to say that we all thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Sitting so close to the actors was brilliant - if a little scary at times!
On Wednesday, we investigated separating mixtures. We used different methods - sieving, filtering and evaporation. We’re excited to see what is left in the Petri dishes next week.
Thursday was Christmas craft afternoon. I hope that everyone enjoyed each activity. It was lovely to see so many parents join in.
