INDUSTRIAL ACTION...INDUSTRIAL ACTION...INDUSTRIAL ACTION - TUESDAY 5TH JULY 2016. School will be partially open to Nursery and Mrs Leadbeater's Reception Class only on this day. No other pupils will be admitted due to strike action by the NUT. If this situation changes we will notify parents/carers as soon as possible. The Edinburgh residential will not be affected. See 'Latest News'. We are working hard to improve punctuality and attendance at Waverley - school begins at 8.55am and ends at 3.15pm (3.00pm Friday). Attendance for the last week was at 94.9% with 63 late marks across our school all week. Have a look at our attendance information on 'Key Information' for more details. Please help us to improve throughout the summer term. We are currently at 95.1% attendance since September 2015. ATTENDANCE MATTERS...We had 72 pupils with 100% attendance during autumn term - this has increased to 99 pupils for spring - that means almost a third of our pupils are here everyday! Our target is 97% attendance overall this year. Boys in our school are attending better than girls by 1% and KS2 is attending more often than KS1 and EYFS. Please help all our classes to achieve this target. FAMILY SUPPORT MATTERS...90% of parents supported our recent Consultation event. NURSERY MATTERS... We still have some places for our nursery.
